How To Help Flood Victims in Texas

Share

As the Red Cross and local agencies take on the gigantic task of aiding flood and hurricane victims in the greater Houston area, friends and neighbors have taken on the role of first responders for thousands of residents needing to reach higher ground.

Those of us in California are watching the news and viewing the heartbreaking images of people, pets and homes impacted by the unprecedented high waters.

How can we help?

According to the Federation of Republican Women, Sacramento donations of new or used items can be dropped off at Bondars Logistics LLC
1583 Enterprise Blvd Ste 50, West Sacramento, CA 95691. They are taking donations through Friday from 6:00am to 6:00pm, Saturday from 9:00am to 1:00pm, and Tuesday from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

The Texas Federation of Republican Women have stepped up to coordinate donations of gift cards. They will make sure help is sent where it is needed most in the Texas Gulf Coast.

Please send gift cards from Home Depot, Lowe’s, or Walmart to:

Texas Federation of Republican Women
13740 N Highway 183 – Suite J4
