January 2026 Central Committee Meeting

The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December, unless there is a special need.
All registered Republicans who live in Sacramento County are welcome to attend the Committee meeting as guests, and may observe, but not participate in the proceedings. In order to confirm registration status, advance sign up is appreciated but not required, and no registered Republican in good standing who resides within the County will be turned away unless the meeting room has reached occupant capacity. Guest sign-up will be available on this page in advance of the meeting.
The January Agenda will include endorsements for the June 2026 Primary election as well as an update on the VOTER ID ballot measure.
About SacCountyGOP Meetings
The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meetings are open to Committee Members, Alternates, and Associates with some open seats for Sacramento County registered Republicans in good standing. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members or their Alternates, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members), or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.
No video/audio recording is allowed during the meeting, including on phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!
What Happened at the November Committee Meeting?
Chairman Forte reviewed the GOTV efforts to oppose Proposition 50. This included knocking on over 3900 doors, collecting over 1000 ballots, and the headquarters team provided helpful information to voters. During this operation, volunteers were also collecting signatures to qualify the Voter ID ballot measure.
Now the SacGOP will switch gears and start preparing for the 2026 election. Office hours during the holidays will be reduced to Monday and Tuesday, then activities will ramp up after the New Year.
