Protecting and Improving the Quality of Life in Galt!

Shawn Farmer has served as Mayor and on the Galt City Council for the past four years, and he feels there is still work to do. A local business owner for the past 25 years, Farmer is proud of his record making the City financial stable, improving parks, addressing homelessness, and providing affordable housing for seniors. His priorities are “quality of life, public safety, and our small town economy.”

Rich Lozano has been a member of the City Council since 2018 after serving for 23 years as a police officer and sergeant. He’s a small business owner who believes citizens should direct government policy and council members should listen to their concerns. He is focused on ensuring Galt has well qualified and highly trained police officers. He demands a high level of accountability and transparency with City finances, spending taxpayer dollars wisely.

Tom Silva served 33 years in the California National Guard, including a year-long deployment to Iraq when he was awarded the Bronze Star. He is currently the President of the Galt Joint Union Elementary School District, taking a leadership role in making sure parents had a voice during the COVID pandemic. His priorities as a member of the Galt City Council will be transparency and accessibility, improved governmental budgeting, public safety, and homelessness, particularly the needs of homeless veterans.
