This bill has 42 coauthors, including 24 Democrats and 18 Republicans. Yet that still wasn’t enough to get past the Senate Public Safety Committee. Our kids will continue to be at risk until we get serious about cracking down on fentanyl. https://twitter.com/zavalaa/status/1640798532318937088

Nearly 60% of CA voters support reforming Prop. 47 and restoring accountability. I put forward #AB75 to do exactly that, but it was rejected today in the Assembly Public Safety Committee. I will continue working to change this, we owe it to our communities to get this right.

The State Supreme Court has affirmed that school districts in LA, Oakland, and San Diego acted illegally by imposing COVID vaccine mandates. Another major win for parents.
