SUMMARY:August 2021 Central Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:About SacCountyGOP Meetings \nSacramento County Registered Republicans were invited to sign up to attend the Central Committee meeting\, but due to limited space\, we have reached our maximum number of attendees. The agenda is set by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only\, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members)\, or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.\nNo recording devices are allowed during the meeting\, including phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. The next meeting will be on Wednesday\, August 18\, at 7pm. Registered Republicans from Sacramento County were given the opportunity to register in advance to attend and were notified they have been approved. Committee Members and other invited Republican leaders do not need to register. Check-in at 6:30pm and mingle with Committee Members and guests until the meeting starts at 7pm.  \nWe were excited about getting back to holding meetings in person at the Gun Club\, but were recently informed they now must close early\, so we’re back to meeting at headquarters. Those guests who registered in advance to attend may do so\, but it might be standing room only.  \nThe agenda will be all about the Recall as ballots will be mailed that week. We will discuss our phone bank\, precinct operation\, plans for observing Vote Centers\, and possibly considering an endorsement. If any candidates for Governor would like to join us via Zoom to make a brief presentation\, they should let us know in advance by emailing info@SacCountyGOP.com.

SUMMARY:March 2021 Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:About SacCountyGOP Meetings \nThe March meeting will be held virtually. Attendees will include Committee Members\, Alternates\, Candidates\, and GOP Organization leaders. The agenda is set in advance by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only\, Sacramento County registered Republicans are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members)\, and send their comments to  info@saccountygop.com.\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. The next meeting will be on Wednesday\, March 17\, at 7pm. \nThe agenda will include an update on signatures gathered for the Recall of Gavin Newsom\, and SacCountyGOP’s contributions to that effort. \nCAGOP Central Valley Regional Vice Chair Corrin Rankin will brief the Committee on the GOP’s Committee to engage in the Redistricting process. \nWe will also be planning for a candidate workshop\, a summer fundraiser\, and regional receptions that are open to Republicans who want to support the work of the SacCountyGOP at the precinct level. \n\nNOTE: We have had several inquiries about being appointed to the Central Committee and taking a leadership role at the precinct level. We would like to thank The Precinct Project and others who are encouraging continued involvement in the GOP to prepare for the 2022 elections. \nThe Sacramento County Central Committee elections were held in March of 2020 with four-year terms. Vacancies are rare\, but when available\, replacement recommendations are made by the Executive Committee\, and a current Committee Member may also nominate a candidate. Positions are filled by a vote of the full Committee. Prior notice of at least ten days preceding the next Committee Meeting must be submitted by the nominating Committee Member (email info@saccountygop.com) to add this as an agenda item at the monthly meeting. Consideration is given to the candidate’s past commitment to SacCountyGOP grassroots\, elections\, and fundraising activities\, and their willingness to work as a team on future SacCountyGOP projects. \nWe have had a successful precinct operation in the past two elections where assigned Resource Volunteers distributed materials provided by the SacCountyGOP within their neighborhood. We will discuss how this program moves forward in each district at the March meeting.
