SUMMARY:April 2025 Central Committee Meeting
DESCRIPTION:The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the second Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December\, unless there is a special need. \nAll registered Republicans who live in Sacramento County are welcome to attend the Committee meeting as guests\, and may observe\, but not participate in the proceedings. In order to confirm registration status\, sign up prior to the meeting date is appreciated but not required\, and no registered Republican in good standing who resides within the County will be turned away unless the meeting room has reached occupant capacity.  \nThe April Agenda will include filling vacancies\, and announcement of Sub-Committee Members and action items.  There will also be a report on the results of the CAGOP Organizing Convention where new leaders were elected. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				About SacCountyGOP Meetings \nThe Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meetings are open to Committee Members\, Alternates\, and Associates with some open seats for Sacramento County registered Republicans. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members or their Alternates\, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members)\, or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.\nNo recording is allowed during the meeting\, including on phones. Photos/videos will be taken by authorized representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!\n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				What Happened at the March Committee Meeting? \nA vacancy was announced in District 4 and the following Committee Members/Alternates were unanimously elected to chair sub-committees: \n\nCandidate Recruitment & Development – Sue Blake\nCommunications – Sadie Foster\nElection Integrity – Nina Caron\nEvents – Jackie Rigard\nFinance – John Reynen\nVolunteers – Bob Blymyer\nVoter Registration & Outreach – Tom Silva\n\nCommittee Members and Alternates met with the new sub-committee chairs to express interest in serving. Committee memberships will be announced at the April meeting. \nChairman Forte announced the following events for April and May where SacCountyGOP will host information booths: \n\nApril 5 Galt Saturday Market\nApril 26-27 Sacramento Gun Show\nMay 2-4 Sacramento AutoRama\nMay 22-26 Sacramento County Fair

He also announced that the Treasurer position has been vacated and will be replaced at the May meeting. \nVacancies in Supervisor District 4 were filled by Ted Costa and Andrew Saunders. \nThe following events will take place in May where SacCountyGOP will host information booths: \n\nMay 2-4 Sacramento AutoRama\nMay 22-26 Sacramento County Fair
