The agenda is set in advance by the SCRP Executive Committee. Since participation in the Committee meeting is reserved for Committee members only\, guests are encouraged to discuss their ideas in advance with a committee member (view the list of members)\, or to send their comments to info@saccountygop.com.\nNo recording devices are allowed during the meeting\, including phones. Photos/videos will be taken by representatives of the SacCountyGOP only. Thank you!\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n The Sacramento County Republican Central Committee meets on the third Wednesday of the month. Meetings begin at 6:30pm. We do not hold meetings in July or December\, unless there is a special need. \nRegistered Republicans in Sacramento County who signed up in advance have been notified they may attend to observe the meeting.  \nThe August agenda will include more endorsements of local candidates who are planning to run in November\, and positions on ballot measures. The Finance Review Committee will report on their recent audit\, and there will be an update on Voter Outreach and Election Observer programs. \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n What Happened at the June Meeting? \nCandidates for City Council and local school board races addressed the Committee and all were endorsed. \nTreasurer Christian Forte introduced the Finance Review Committee that will meet and report back to the full Committee in August. Their task is to conduct an independent review of the books and accounts for the Sacramento County Republican Party per our Bylaws. Committee members represent all five Supervisor Districts as follows: \nDistrict 1 – Sadie FosterDistrict 2 – Brenda BennettDistrict 3 – Nick BloiseDistrict 4 – Aaron SilvaDistrict 5 – Carol Fogle \nTreasurer Forte also announced a proposed change to the Bylaws\, approved unanimously by the Executive Committee\, that will clarify the Treasurer may retain\, with Executive Committee approval\, a professional service to serve as Assistant Treasurer\, and to facilitate filings and financial transactions as directed. The full language of the amendment was provided to Committee Members well in advance of the 30 days notification requirements\, and the vote will take place at the August meeting. \nBarbara Sloan reviewed the list of upcoming events\, including the Sacramento County Fair and community events in Fair Oaks\, Citrus Heights and Elk Grove.
