The Sacramento Transportation Authority voted to put a half-cent sales tax increase on the November ballot and now it’s up to the Sacramento Board of Supervisors to seal the deal. \nGood news! Polls show the tax increase has an uphill battle\, and that has forced the STA to reconsider their plans. They are meeting again on July 15 to revisit the issue and we need to let them know voters don’t want the tax on the ballot! After they make their decision\, the Sacramento Board of Supervisors will vote\, so both must be contacted. \nTake Action Now! \n\nBefore July 15 at Noon call (916) 875-2500 to pre-register to make a comment by telephone during the live STA meeting (July 15 at 1:30pm).
