Sacramento is the host committee\, and we will have an information table at the Convention where we will sell merchandise and display materials from our SD 1 Special Election Candidates.  \nAll candidates for the special election in Senate District 1 have been invited to speak. To date\, we have a confirmation that Assemblyman Kevin Kiley will be attending\, as well as Rex W. Hime speaking on behalf of his father Rex Hime. There are two other GOP County Central Committee meetings in the area that evening\, and the candidates are trying to make each one. For those who cannot attend in February\, an open invitation is there for the March 13 meeting. \nWe will also hear from CAGOP Candidate for Vice Chair Corrin Rankin\, and possibly Vice Chair Candidate Charlie Schaupp (he’s on his way back from Korea and military transport is unpredictable.) DESCRIPTION:There will not be a July SacCountyGOP Committee meeting\, but we encourage you to attend the Leadership Workshop on June 29th. \n			\n			\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				\n				Volunteer Orientation \nThe California State Fair will open July 12 and runs through July 28. Volunteers who have signed up to work at the Republican Booth should attend this orientation to learn how to sell merchandise\, talking points to engage voters\, how to apply for the Citizens Redistricting Commission\, and voter registration. We will also have daily passes to hand out. Stop in any time between 5-7pm and you’ll have an opportunity to purchase a shirt or hat you can wear at the Fair at a 50% discount! \nIf you have not signed up yet for one or more 4-hour shifts at the Fair\, you can do that at this link. We expect all shifts to fill\, so be sure to grab your preferred time slot early! \nIf you cannot attend the orientation\, please let us know by emailing info@saccountygop.com. We will have your passes at the Fair Will Call booth located at the main entrance. Ask for the Republican Booth envelope. \nQuestions?
